I started out as a digital nomad after completing a course to become an outdoor instructor, where I would take young adults camping in the Australian wilderness. Once I completed a year working for the company, I decided that I wanted to pursue my passion for travel and spend more time exploring the world.
So I saved up some money, stocked up on essentials (like a good laptop), and took off – with no plan other than calling wherever I ended up home.

How long can you be a work online and travel for?
Seven years ago, I made the decision to become a nomad. Packing up my life, quitting my job, and leaving my home behind was one of the most intimidating moments of my life.
But I did it, and since then I’ve been able to explore some of the most beautiful places on Earth while continuing to fund my adventures through online jobs, and even renovations on properties.
You see I have a bit of a golden hand when it comes to renovations
I have worked from hostels in Netherlands, running businesses in Iceland, and even in Coffee shops in Bali.
With no set end-date in sight, I am continually discovering new cultures and finding inspiring ways of showcasing my work.
From building up my personal online presence, selling affiliate products building websites for clients, scouring sites for remote job opportunities, being a content writer, a video content creator.
The possibilities are endless.
What’s more there are so many opportunities to stay in countries that are extremely affordable which in turn means I can relax and work less while still enjoying the finer things in life.
Being a Digital nomad has really opened my eyes to possibilities most people only dream of.
Yes it can be a bit daunting at first, but when you take the first step’s outside of your comfort zone, then with time you create a bigger bubble of safety around you.
You will learn new skills, ways to communicate with others and over time get into the flow which will make you feel a sense of comfort when traveling.
For me taking the plunge has been a lifelong dream and at this point I still don’t have any concrete plans to return home.
